Salam!

I am looking for two other Muslim female roommates to move in with me in my current 3-bedroom house. I’m a fourth year at Carleton, and have been living here for three years. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near the Walkley/Bank/Mooney’s Bay area.

There is availability to sublet one of the rooms for May to August, or the option to sign a lease for either room from August 1st 2023 to July 31st, 2024.

$655 for the larger sized room, and $635 for the slightly smaller room. The smaller room includes a bed frame, mattress, nightstand and desk if you would like to use them, or they can be removed. There is a closet and windows in both rooms.

This price is all-inclusive and includes rent, utilities, and high-speed internet/wifi in the price.

• House is keyless entry (door code) but a key is also provided
• Dining room and kitchen are fully furnished (dining table, stainless steel appliances such as oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, lots of cabinets space and drawers)
• Living room is fully furnished (coffee table, sofa and chair set, large flatscreen TV, electric fireplace)
• Large backyard with patio
• Very quiet, safe neighborhood with families and retired couples
• Bus stops are a few minutes away but still walkable, and there is parking space available on the driveway, street and garage
• Very close to major government offices, hospitals and schools (7 min drive to Carleton, 15 min drive to uOttawa and Algonquin)
• Lots of halal food options nearby and Walmart/Shoppers + other grocery stores are close by as well

I’m a friendly, understanding, respectful and clean person and I’m hoping to find two other students or working professionals who are the same. All that I ask is that there is no smoking, no drinking, and no men over in the house (as I wear a hijab) please 🙂
