Allah says in Surah Al-Anfal, verse 63:
وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَّا أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

“He brought their hearts together. Had you spent all the riches on the earth, you could not have united their hearts. But Allah has united them. Indeed, He is Almighty, All-Wise.”

In the above verse, Allah (SWT) highlights to the prophet, the Muhajirun, and Ansar, the favor bestowed upon them-united hearts. Something He (SWT) further states cannot be achieved through any worldly means. It is this true unity we are showcasing in IAW ‘25. A unity grounded in faith and one that transcends worldly differences, country borders, socioeconomic status, and skin color. To Muslims, this unity is deeply rooted in worship, shared responsibility, empathy, and love for one another.

Advocacy, or actively promoting justice, truth, and righteousness, is an obligation upon every Muslim, as established by both the Quran and the Sunnah.
Demonstrating Advocacy in the diversity of our people; Islam is not for a particular people, it is for everyone.

Sharing our views and advocating for justice is essential to strengthening our community, addressing misconceptions and countering negative portrayals.

“Our Duty to One Another and the Earth”

  • Taking responsibility for the gifts that Allah has given us and using them for his sake
  • Making Allah the top priority in all areas of our lives
  • Being a the true khalifah, that Allah wants us to be

Unity in worship is at the heart of Islam, and the Five Pillars show this clearly.

  • Shahada: Unites all Muslims under the core belief in Allah’s oneness and the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH).
  • Salah: Connects Muslims worldwide through unified prayer facing the Kaaba.
  • Zakah and Sawm: Build unity through shared and communal care.
  • Hajj:  Millions worship together in Makkah coming from across the globe.
